It works for me now.
What i did was this:
In Finder choose "Go" in the menu then "Go to folder"
Write: /Volumes/
Delete the Ramdisk
Run Pwnage Tools again.
No problems.

I have tried that and no luck...i get the same msg. and i don't know, here is exactly what i do...
1)Put it in Recovery mode (Cable to itunes)
2)open Pwnage tool
3)press Browes ispw. (2008-04-04 11:36:53 - Recognized .ipsw file as version iPhone1,1_1.1.4_4A102.)
4)press ipwner (2008-04-04 11:36:57 - Unzipping .ipsw file to /tmp/ipsw.

2008-04-04 11:37:06 - Patching iBoot.
2008-04-04 11:37:06 - OK
2008-04-04 11:37:06 - Attaching custom ramdisk to '/Volumes/Ramdisk'.
2008-04-04 11:37:09 - OK
2008-04-04 11:37:09 - Updating custom ramdisk.
2008-04-04 11:37:09 - FAIL
2008-04-04 11:37:09 - Detaching custom ramdisk from '/Volumes/Ramdisk'.
