Unlocking and bootneutering fixed the no reception problem for me too on O2 UK.

so if I customized, 1.1.4 with pwn, do I need Boot & Unlock it before I put 1.2b or I do that after 1.2b? all I need to do is Upgrade or do I need to restore 1.2b?

even though you dont see anything, hold the sleep and home button on the iphone for 20 sec and let go of the top button keep holding the bottom button and wait for itunes to recognize it and then restore and try again hope this helps....

As I said in my post it will not turn on. I have tried to connect it to my Mac via USB but it will not recognize it because it is not powered. I have also tried holding both buttons and no response whatsoever.

let not get to exited with PWNED just yet. it is certainly a promising concept but its 1.0 has to undergo some improvements.

What does Pwned do that others dont?

1) unlocks 2.0 (yes, but 1.1.4 baseband and its still buggy)

Pwned will allow in the near future (either throgh the tool itself or through auxiliary tools the complete customisation of ipsw's. Nowadays having a Pwend 1.1.4 is like having the original + 2 mins of iLiberty (no big use)

P.s if you happen to sync your iPhone on 2.0 it will overwrite your itunes backup and you will not be able to re use it or recover it in time machine. bear that in mind

Ugh, cannot wait till the windows version. I'm sitting here with my 2.0 ipsw file waiting for it to be released. Cannot wait! Wish I had a mac, lol.
