New Red Iphone?

Engadget got a copy of a inventory list from AT&T.



With iPod shuffles and nanos available in a variety of shades, it only makes sense to bring the love to the iPhone too, right? AT&T's internal inventory sheet is apparently now showing iPhones in "deep red" (we probably would've gone with something a little more neutral like black for the first new color, but whatevs) though we don't have any information beyond that. No release date, no picture, nothing. The presence of a 4GB variant of the deep red iPhone here has a little skeptical, considering how its silver sib just got the ax, but who knows -- maybe Apple figures a dirt cheap model colored to match Festivus decorations will sell like gangbusters.

I think red makes some sense as a color choice... It's probably more appealing to women, without being to girly for most guys (like pink might be).

those sku's starting with 'R' in the pic and the INS at the start of the product description generally denote warranty depot/exchange by mail/refurb equipment. Honestly i wouldn't get my hopes up.

The white (and black) D807 is discontinued as well....

However.....there are some other models known to be heading to AT&T that have showed up as well. Only time will tell

I think this is all having to do with "Product Red". I think the "RED" versions in both 4 & 8 GB will sell through quite well through the holidays. Remember that Apple is all about selling the phones and meanwhile giving the apple customers the feel good that they are donating to AIDS support. visit the Apple page http://www.apple.com/ipod/red/.
Its going to work, colors always sell, at least if its primary or secondary!

That can't be right a 4gb red or any color. I was told they don't make 4 gb anymore and that 8gb will be their small phone with a 12gb comming soon. But you didnt hear that from me.

I won't believe it until I see it...

First, the 4GB model has been discontinued.

Second, the phone listed right above it is a Samsung D807. AT&T discontinued that phone over 6 months ago and the stock is completely gone.

...wtf blood? iF anythin' should be changed about the iPhone iT be the memory that Steve Blow-Job worked us iNto buyin'. They need to quit BSin' and upgrade the memory to 16GB or 32GB or 64GB iF they tryin' to make holiday sells. Apple need to quit playin' us and give us what we want. iCan't wait until Google drop the GPhone so iCan replace this iBhone.

Well, with the Europeans getting the 16gb 3G iPhones, I would surmise that is the next release for the U.S., however storage will probably bumbed up to even greater levels soon.

How do we distiguish between an inventory sheet from AT&T and one from say.... Cooters Hitech refurb closeout store? 2 of the three items listed on that page have been discontinued . So im guessing we might be looking at an inventory sheet from a clearence/closeout store rather than AT&T. If it is in fact a real inventory sheet and not some iNerds wet dream.
