Cash, I noticed when I try and run the "dd=... command that it shows ***-38.dmg but when i download the firmware, it shows ***-5.dmg instead of -38. I ran the command in terminal and I am able to get a ramdisk, but when I try and mount it, it says no mountable disk. any idears?

jacob. at the end to the tutorial, just downlaod the zip file... all the files you need ar there. you dont have to mtn anything.

oh and everyone failing its because you are using secpack 3 not secpack 4, I have dug in and created a secpack 4 which will be in my guide :P

i dotn think i can do this until i have written words for some parts.. just cause my files are differnt than his even my baseband folder has less files.

Just did on two out of box iPhones with 1.1.1 software! It worked great! But if you download the required files in this thread. Remember to rename the secpack.bin to secpack.
