Hmmm so downgrading made simple but the rest of the jailbreak for 1.1.1 requires Mac still...

I've still never seen a clear answer to this, and maybe because no one knows, but if you downgrade from 1.1.1, will future updates error out and cause problems? I only ask this becasue it seems that during the downgrade process you have to 'ignore some errors.'

No, Ive downgraded and upgraded and downgraded again with no problems. It works fine going back up after you go down
. Now as far as apple launching a nother update such as 1.1.2 or whatever...Not sure, but currently its fine to go up and down the firmware ladder. hahaha. The only thing it doesn't do is upgrade / downgrade your BaseBand.
