although it is not FULL jailbreak. but I had always wondered why they called it jailbreak then when I saw the ln -s / Media it was like OH that's why.
I have been trying to use 'getfile' to pull RDISK.JPG which is a symlink of /dev/rdisk0 but now my phone is bricked. I can downgrade to 1.0.2 but it fails to upgrade to 1.1.1 or even restore and upgrade with error 1016.
I think maybe I f'd up my copy of iTunes. if anyone has a copy of 7.4.1(2) installer I would love to have it. I will check the downloads now.

a couple of questions:
1. The installer for iTunes, what platform (MAC or Windows)?
I have versions 7.4 thru 7.4.2 for the MAC.
2. Why do you need/want to pull THAT specific file?

Another note, when uninstalling iTunes, make sure you use something like AppZapper (appzapper.com, 5 free non-restricted uses) or CleanApp (synium.de/cleanapp) to truly remove ALL files associated with an installed application.
Of the two I prefer CleanApp.
