'Brightness Activator Pro' is an Awesome New Activator-based Screen Brightness Tweak
To make it even easier for you to adjust your display brightness on the fly, a new jailbreak tweak called Brightness Activator Pro by iOS developer ichitaso could make all the difference.
Brightness Activator Pro is an Activator-based jailbreak tweak that lets you choose an Activator action and then invoke it to change your brightness to your liking. When you invoke the Activator action that you want to use, you can then drag your finger left or right on the display in order to increase or decrease the brightness – then you can press the Home Button to exit the brightness-changing interface, or wait for the timeout period – whichever comes first.
To configure an Activator action that you want to use, you can head over to the Activator application and assign an action that you want to use for the Brightness Activator option:
Brightness Activator Pro also adds its own preferences pane to the Settings application where you can configure even more additional options:
Here, you can enable or disable the tweak on demand, choose whether or not the volume HUD (heads up display) will appear when you change the brightness, disable the tweak on the Home Screen, Lock Screen, when the keyboard is open, and in specific applications, configure an amount of time before the brightness changing interface automatically closes, pick a notification style, and more.
Brightness Activator Pro offers more features to the end user than the free version known as Brightness Activator 2 that we showed you earlier this month. On the other hand, the free version of the tweak includes plenty of core functionality that still might keep you happy, so it may be worth checking out the free version before you consider the paid version.
If you want to give Brightness Activator Pro a try, it's available right now in Cydia's BigBoss repository for 99¢. iOS 7 is required for the installation, as is Activator – if you don't already have Activator installed, it will be installed automatically for you when you try to install Brightness Activator Pro.
