Default 'Slide to Reboot' Lets You Switch Between Slide to Power Off and Slide to Reboot

Normally when you press and hold the power button on any of your iOS devices, you will get the option to slide to power off your device.

With a new free jailbreak tweak called Slide to Reboot by iOS developer Dan Saba, you can tap on the slider in this interface to easily switch between slide to power off and slide to reboot.

As shown above, whenever you switch between slide to power off and slide to reboot, the slider text changes, and so does the slider icon glyph. When you're in power down mode, a power down icon appears, and when you're in reboot mode, the icon changes to allow an arrow to indicate reboot.

The tweak has no options to configure; it's pretty simple to use too. Because is relies on the interface of iOS 7.1 and later, you must be running iOS 7.1 or later to install this tweak. It's also open source, which means you can view the source code at this GitHub link.

If you would like to give it a try, it's available for free in Cydia's BigBoss repository.

    Name: Slide to Reboot
    Price: FREE
    Version: 1.0-8

    Tested on:iPhone 5 running iOS 7.1.2
    Repo: BigBoss
    Developer: Dan Saba

Would be better if it offered options !! Ie both power off and reboot! Rather than just either one!

You do get both if I understood correctly. Tapping the slider switches it had and forth from powering off and rebooting, so you can have either one. I for one think this actually sounds quite useful.

i have been looking for a small app to make a reboot and most of them were not compatible with iOS 7.1.2 , so this has come as a handy item that i needed it badly.
Congrats to developer for making it free and a nice tweak too !

Located Slide to Reboot on Cydia but when clicked to install, I got error message: " I wasn't able to locate file for the com.dpkgdan.slidetoreboot package..." and it also says you might have to fix this package.

Any idea why it doing that?
