Default 'Randomy' Randomly Colorizes Your iOS 7 UI, Blur Tint Color, and Much More

A new free jailbreak tweak called Randomy by iOS developer Poomsmart is now available in Cydia that allows you to randomly colorize several elements on your iOS 7 device. The tweak uses a random algorithm so that the colors you see are always randomly selected and transition from one to another seamlessly. The tweak can colorize blurs, user interface elements, backgrounds, and more.

For example, Randomy can colorize your iOS 7 Lock Screen when you have notifications, your folder backgrounds, your keyboard, pop-up buttons, the application dock, navigation bars, notification banners, and more. You can view even more image examples in the rest of this post.

Randomy comes with a preferences pane where you can configure a number of options to make the tweak function the way you want it to:

You can configure options such as:

    • Enable or disable the tweak on demand
    • Enable or disable global color transition animation
    • Choose length of time for color transition
    • Choose length of time for color transition delay
    • Enable or disable tinting SpringBoard user interface color
    • Enable or disable styling folder backgrounds
    • Choose blur color hardness
    • Choose tint color opacity
    • Choose global blur radius amount
    • Configure color randomization

Since the tweak randomizes colors and doesn't let users pick their own colors, this tweak may not necessarily be for everyone. On the other hand, if you like the idea of a freshly-changing color scheme for your device that transitions every few seconds, then this tweak is worth checking out.

Since the tweak also uses a large number of system resources to colorize iOS 7's blur effects and more, you may notice a slight lagging while scrolling around or navigating the iOS 7 user interface. This is normal and is expected.

Randomy is available for free in Cydia's BigBoss repository right now. Please note that the tweak requires iOS 7 to be installed.

    Name: Randomy
    Price: FREE
    Version: 1.0-1
    Requirements: iOS 7.0-7.1.2
Tested on: iPhone 5 running iOS 7.1.2
    Repo: BigBoss
    Developer: PoomSmart
    Editor's Rating:  4/5

Looks neat but it doesn't work on my 5S for some reason.. It changes the color but doesn't cycle through different colors and I have the transition down to 3 seconds.

Does it have issues with other tweaks besides DockShift?

Does not transition colors on the 5s besides the keyboard. That is the only thing changing colors, and it only just started working as I type this reply.
