If you're a fan of the dark and mysterious look rather than the light and optimistic look, then check out a new free jailbreak tweak called DarkFolders7 by iOS developer Marco Singhof.

This tweak darkens the backgrounds and the icons of your folders in iOS 7. Above, you can see an example of what the folder background looks like before and after installing the DarkFodlers7 jailbreak tweak. The darker appearance not only looks better on stock devices, but if you're using a theme that calls for darker colors, it could go along with the theme pretty nicely.

Not only does the tweak darken the background of the folder when you open it, but you'll also notice that it darkens the icons on your Home Screen, demonstrating careful attention to the small details:

DarkFolders7 adds a preferences pane to the Settings application where you can not only enable or disable the tweak on demand, but you can also individually enable or disable darkening folder backgrounds and/or icons:

If you would like to give DarkFolders7 a try, it's available for free right now in Cydia's BigBoss repository. The tweak requires iOS 7 to be installed.
