Facebook Pulls its Less-than-popular Poke and Camera Apps From the iOS App Store
Facebook has reportedly chosen to pull its less-than-popular standalone Camera and Poke applications from the iOS App Store. Facebook Camera was released in May of 2012 and gave Facebook users what was supposedly an easier way to share photographs to Facebook with additional features, while Facebook Poke was released in December of 2012 as a kind of Snapchat competitor.
While Facebook did not explain their reasoning for pulling the applications, they did confirm that they choose to pull them. It's not a surprising move on Facebook's end since most users prefer to perform actions from the all-in-one Facebook application itself because of the convenience of not having to move from application to application. Facebook Poke had shown that it was truly unpopular among Facebook users.
Facebook isn't moving away from making users use standalone applications, however. Although the two unpopular applications were pulled from the App Store, Facebook intends to keep Facebook Messenger, a very popular standalone application from Facebook, in the App Store as a way to keep users' Facebooking and messaging separate from one another. In the future, Facebook intends to remove the messaging functionality from the all-in-one Facebook application altogether in a plan to get all Facebook users to use the standalone messaging application.
The all-in-one Facebook application can be downloaded for free from this App Store link.

I thought they were both removed ages ago? They haven't shown up in the App Store for months
