When you're on the iOS 7 Lock Screen and you have pending notifications, they'll stay there until you unlock the device, or until you open Notification Center. Unfortunately, when you close Notification Center after opening it, the pending notifications that were on your Lock Screen will no longer be there.

This can be an annoying problem if you just wanted to open Notification Center to check the date really quick, as your notifications will no longer be available directly from the Lock Screen the next time you go to wake up your device. In the end, the notifications disappearing from the Lock Screen creates more work for the end user in order for them to see what they had missed.

A new free jailbreak tweak called ImmortalNotifications by iOS developer xsahoo is now available in Cydia that makes it so that when you open and then close Notification Center from the Lock Screen, the pending notifications that you have on the Lock Screen do not disappear.

ImmortalNotifications adds a preferences pane to the Settings application where you can enable or disable the tweak on demand:

If the way Notification Center removes your notifications from your iOS 7 Lock Screen is bugging you, then ImmortalNotifications is a good way to prevent that from happening. The tweak is available for free right now in Cydia's BigBoss repository. The tweak requires an iOS 7 device.
