'SlideUP2Unlock' Lets You Slide Up on the Lock Screen to Unlock the Device
With the Lock Screen Apple gives you in iOS 7, you can slide to the right anywhere on the Lock Screen to unlock the device and get to your Home Screen.
If you'd like to add the ability to slide upwards on the Lock Screen to unlock your iOS device, in addition to being able to slide to the right, then check out a new free jailbreak tweak called SlideUP2Unlock by iOS developer Davide Fresilli.
With SlideUP2Unlock installed, the Camera Grabber on your iOS 7 Lock Screen will change into an unlock grabber, as shown above. When you drag up on the unlock grabber, you will be brought to your Home Screen, just like if you were to slide to the right to unlock your iOS 7 Lock Screen.
The tweak also adjusts the appearance of your passcode screen when you unlock your iOS device in this way:
The tweak adds a preferences pane to the Settings application where you can configure a few options:
From here, you can enable or disable the tweak on demand – you will need to respring the device each time you change this option, so a respring button is added to the preferences pane. It's also worth noting that you can hide or show the unlock icon where the Camera Grabber would normally be. You can also change the unlock icon to whatever you want by saving a new image titled "[email protected]" to the SlideUP2Unlock preferences bundle via iFile or SSH.
If you would like to give SlideUP2Unlock a try, it's available for free right now in Cydia's BigBoss repository. The tweak requires iOS 7.
Requirements: iOS 7.0-7.0.6
Tested on: iPhone 5 running iOS 7.0.6

There seem to be be a lot of tweaks that do very minor changes to the LS. I get the impression it's the first thing newb programmers do on Cydia. Nothing wrong with that but I wish there were more substantial Cydia apps and tweaks.
