Default 'Location Sentry' Puts A Location Mark in the App Switcher Above Location-using Apps

Spicing up that App Switcher in iOS 7 with a additional functionality, animations, and features may have to wait until April 2nd, but in the mean time, you can still add small features to the App Switcher that make it more elegant.

One such example is a new free jailbreak tweak called Location Sentry by iOS developer Ryan Hileman. This tweak, as shown above, puts a location service indicator above the application preview cards of applications that use your location. Applications that don't use your location won't show a location service indicator above the preview cards.

This is a handy way of seeing exactly what applications that you have running are using your location at a particular point in time.

Location Sentry does require iOS 7, as it was coded with the iOS 7 App Switcher in mind, and it doesn't have any options to configure. If you would like to give it a try, you will find it for free in Cydia's BigBoss repository.
