Default 'NoSTUArrow' Removes the Chevron from the Slide to Unlock Text on the Lock Screen

If you're not a fan of that little arrow or chevron that appears right before the Slide to Unlock text on the iOS 7 Lock Screen, then you can download a new free jailbreak tweak called NoSTUArrow by iOS developer Phillip Tennen to remove it.

As shown above, as soon as you install NoSTUArrow, the chevron icon no longer appears before the Slide to Unlock text, but notably, the Slide to Unlock text still appears. The tweak aims to just simplify the text that appears on the screen, and nothing else.

NoSTUArrow is free, but if you want to pay 99 and get more bang for your buck, then you can check out a jailbreak tweak we showed you last month called Lockify Pro that will let you remove that little chevron icon from the Lock Screen, as well as offer several other features for customizing your Lock Screen in iOS 7. Other Lock Screen Slider text customizing tweaks would also suffice for this job.

NoSTUArrow doesn't have any options to configure and requires that you have iOS 7 on your device to be installed. If you would like to give it a try, it's available for free right now in Cydia's BigBoss repository.

    Name: NoSTUArrow
    Price: FREE
    Version: 1.0-1
    Requirements: iOS 7.0-7.0.6
Tested on: iPhone 5 running iOS 7.0.6
    Repo: BigBoss
    Developer: Phillip Tennen
