'SlideWeather' Puts the Current Weather Information on the Lock Screen Slider
If you like the idea of adding useful weather information to your Lock Screen, but you don't want to clutter up the original Apple-looking Lock Screen interface with widgets and additional information, then check out this new jailbreak tweak called SlideWeather by iOS developer Phillip Tennen.
SlideWeather replaces the Slide to Unlock text with the current outside temperature in Fahrenheit and the outdoor conditions, as shown above.
Configuring the tweak is easy too; it adds a preferences pane to the Settings application where you can configure a few options to your liking:
You will be able to enable or disable the tweak on demand, hide or show the slide to unlock chevron, enable or disable the iPhone 5s Lock Screen delay, customize the preceding text (we used "Currently"), and choose the refresh interval for when the weather information should be refreshed.
SlideWeather doesn't effect your Lock Screen unlock gesture in any way, it just makes the text on the Lock Screen more useful. If you want to give SlideWeather a shot, it's available in Cydia's BigBoss repository right now for just $1.00.
Requirements: iOS 7.0-7.0.6
Tested on: iPhone 5 running iOS 7.0.6
Developer: Phillip Tennen
