Default 'VideoGestures' Adds Touch Gestures to the iOS Video Player

To add touch gesture controls to video-playing interfaces in iOS, check out a new free jailbreak tweak called VideoGestures by iOS developer Davide Fresilli.

Once installed, you can use one finger and swipe up or down to adjust the video's volume, or you can swipe left or right to fast forward or rewind:

You can still opt to use the touch buttons if you want, but if they're already hidden, the gestures might give you just that extra ounce of convenience.

The tweak adds a preferences pane to the Settings application where you can configure a few of the tweak's options:

From here, you can enable or disable the tweak on demand, adjust the scrolling ratio for volume, adjust the scrolling ratio for video scrubbing, and even enable the natural scrolling feature. The sliders give you the ability to basically choose the sensitivity levels so they fit your needs.

These controls work in various video-players across iOS in different applications, so it'll work almost anywhere. If you want to give VideoGestures a try, it's available for free in Cydia's BigBoss repository.
