'iPadKeyboardBlur' Enables the Blurred Keyboard Background on the iPad
For whatever reason, Apple limited the transparent keyboard with the blurred background effect to the iPhone and iPod touch only. iPad users have been forced to deal with solid-looking keyboards that are boring and have no level of transparency or blur effects whatsoever.
If you want to add the transparency and blur to the iPad keyboard as well, then check out a new free jailbreak tweak called iPadKeyboardBlur by iOS developer Hamza Sood.
This tweak, once installed, enables the same transparency and blur effect that you would get on an iPhone or iPod touch on your iPad. It works for both the black keyboard, shown above, as well as the white keyboard shown below:
It's a minor cosmetic effect, but an aesthetically pleasing one at that. If you want to give the tweak a try, it's available for free in Cydia's BigBoss repository. The tweak requires an iPad running iOS 7. The source code for iPadKeyboardBlur is available for the public eyes on Github at this link. The tewak has no options to configure.
Requirements: iOS 7.0-7.0.5, iPad
Tested on: iPad Mini with Retina Display running iOS 7.0.4

I was soo happy when I saw this tweak the other day. That is one thing that bugged me on my iPad 4.

I couldn't get this to work properly. It makes the keyboard slightly less opaque, but it doesn't blur anything. iPad 3, iOS 7.0.4
I even tried wiping the keyboard cache file/ rebooting.

Doesn't work properly on my iPad Air either.

Same problem - less opacity but no blur on iPad 3.
