'Weasel' is Your One-stop Shop to Quick Searching iOS, Shortcuts, Commands, and More
Weasel is an entirely new centralized search engine, shortcut engine, command engine, and more that you can easily get to from anywhere in iOS 7 by iOS developer DarkMalloc. You can assign Weasel an Activator action, and when you invoke the Activator action of your choice, you will find yourself in the simplicity of the Weasel interface, shown above.
From Weasel, you can perform all kinds of SpotLight-like actions, and more. Some of the straightforward things you can do are search for applications on your device, search for music on your device, and search for contacts on your device. These features really feel the same as SpotLight, but what Weasel does that SpotLight doesn't do is offer the ability to search Google, Wikipedia, Amazon, and eBay, all from the interface.
Another thing Weasel can do that SpotLight can't, is let you enter commands and receive output, such as calculator calculations (both simple and complex), define words, and even enter "System" to find a list of system commands, such as respringing, rebooting, powering off, toggling Wi-Fi, and toggling Bluetooth:
Weasel adds a preferences pane to the Settings application where you can configure the Activator action of your choice:
Weasel relies on Activator, so you can invoke it from anywhere – the Home Screen, from within applications, and even on the Lock Screen. In the current version of the tweak, Weasel only supports portrait orientation, and you must have iOS 7 installed to use Weasel. It appears to be a worthwhile way of getting to just about anything from anywhere, and it's not only easy to use, but very aesthetically pleasing!
If you want to give Weasel a try, it's available in Cydia's BigBoss repository right now for $1.99.
Requirements: iOS 7.0-7.0.5

Sorry I meant activator action, taking about this as a replacement for spotlight so I want to be able to dismiss it with a gesture rather then a home button press.

if would be kind of cool to add swipe-to-dismiss sort of like the biteSMS quick reply window
