Default 'Vmoji 7' Adds Unicode, Emoji, and More to Your Basic iOS Keyboard

For those with the creative minds that like sending unicode-based smileys, emojis, and more all from one place, a new jailbreak tweak called Vmoji 7 is available by iOS development firm ManChild Technologies that brings all of these great things to the same keyboard for easy access.

Once installed, this jailbreak tweak modifies your keyboard in iOS so that when you tap on the "123" key, and then tap and hold on just about any of the keys from this keyboard, you will get pop-up windows that show you unicode characters and emojis. You can select them by dragging your finger to them, and then you can send them just like they were any other kind of character.

You don't have to have the iOS emoji keyboard enabled for this tweak to work. In fact, if you have the emoji keyboard enabled in your Keyboard settings, you can disable it and use this tweak instead to remove the clutter of the international keyboard button on the keyboard.

In addition to emoji and unicode text, Vmoji 7 also adds text shortcuts to the number 9 key:

For example, letting go on the "Car" button will auto-input "I am driving right now," and letting go on the "Wud" button will auto-input "What you doing?" These shortcuts are handy for when you're multitasking and you want quick one-tap access to common questions without having to take the time to type them out.

Another feature of Vmoji 7 that you'll notice is when you tap and hold on the top letter of the main keyboard, you will find an easy way to input the number that would normally be above that key on a computer keyboard. This feature will make entering numbers faster so that you won't have to switch between letter and number keyboard views frequently:

Vmoji 7 is definitely a useful tool for those that text a lot, and especially for those that want to take advantage of easier access to emoji and unicode characters. If you want to give the tweak a try, it's available for $2.99 in Cydia's BigBoss repository. The tweak doesn't come with any options to configure and it's very straightforward to use. It works on any iOS 7 iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad and works with both 32-bit and 64-bit iOS devices.

    Name: Vmoji 7
    Price: $2.99
    Version: 1.0
    Requirements: iOS 7.0-7.0.5
Tested on: iPhone 5 running iOS 7.0.4
    Repo: BigBoss
    Developer: ManChild Technologies

Very disappointed I wasted $$ on this tweak. Really unusable, and unless you just "remember" which letter or number pulls up which menu it's a constant hunt and peck. Immediately uninstalled; wish I could get my money back.
