'NoSpot iOS 7' Disables SpotLight in iOS 7
SpotLight is a feature that only a fraction of iOS users actually use, and for those that don't use it, it can just get in the way sometimes. This is especially so with iOS 7, where the placement of your finger could be the difference between opening SpotLight or Notification Center.
If you want to disable SpotLight outright in iOS 7, you can do so with a new free jailbreak tweak dubbed NoSpot iOS 7 by iOS developer developersBliss.
With this tweak installed, you will not be able to open SpotLight from the home screen. Instead, when you perform the usual swipe down gesture, nothing will happen.
The tweak adds a preference pane to the Settings application where you can easily re-enable SpotLight if you decide that using it might be beneficial. You will need to respring your device every time you make changes to this preferences pane:
Notably, NoSpot iOS 7 is fully compatible with both 32-bit and 64-bit iOS devices. If you want to give the tweak a try, it's available for free in Cydia's BigBoss repository.
Name: NoSpot iOS 7
Requirements: iOS 7.0-7.0.4.

This shouldn't be a thing. You can do this with iCleaner pro.

Doesn't matter. It will still cause your phone to crash. Uninstall it then try spotlight. It's a known issue.

Spotlight is an awesome feature! I can't believe it gets in the way enough to completely remove it. As for accidentally activating it instead of notification center, the only thing the two gestures have in common is the downward motion, yet where you swipe is (relatively) apart. They can have my jailbreak when they pry it from my cold dead fingers.

Do you have ifile installed? If not, you will need it to fix NC. If not there is another way but it's more of a pain.
