iH8sn0w and Winocm Release P0sixspwn Untether Package in Cydia (6.1.3-6.1.5 3GS/A4)
On Monday, following Sunday’s release of evasi0n 7 for iOS 7, iOS hackers iH8sn0w and Winocm released an untether tool in Cydia dubbed P0sixspwn for iPhone 3GS and A4 device users running iOS 6.1.3, iOS 6.1.4, or iOS 6.1.5. The hackers teased the untethered jailbreak for iOS 6.1.3, iOS 6.1.4, and iOS 6.1.5 just two nights ago.
The current untether package will jailbreak devices that can already be jailbroken tethered. So the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, and iPod touch 4g can take advantage of this untether package. The directions for installing the package are simple enough, via iH8sn0w's blog:
To grab it...
1) Have a tethered jailbreak (either via redsn0w [Point to 6.0 IPSW] or sn0wbreeze).
2) Open Cydia.
3) Click the "Changes" tab in the footer.
4) Press the "Refresh" button in the top left corner.
5) After "Reloading Data", perform a search for "p0sixspwn" (the O is a zero).
6) Tap Install.
That's it! You're untethered.
You will have to jailbreak your device tethered first with either redsn0w or sn0wbreeze, and point the software to an iOS 6.0 firmware file for the device you want to jailbreak tethered. Afterwards, you'll refresh your sources in Cydia on your newly-jailbroken tethered device, find the untether package, and install it to untether your jailbreak. NOTE: Cydia is experiencing huge traffic right now, so you may encounter issues finding the package in Cydia at this point in time. This requires patience, so consider trying again later if you have problems finding the package after refreshing your sources.
The latest version of redsn0w can be downloaded from this link, and the latest version of sn0wbreeze can be downloaded from this link. Windows users can choose between either of the two software options, while Mac users will have to grab redsn0w.
iH8sn0w also notes on his blog that an untethered iOS 6.1.3 and iOS 6.1.4 jailbreak for A5 and newer devices will be released soon, possibly around Christmas day. This jailbreak is perfect for those that want to stay on iOS 6 and don't want to upgrade to iOS 7.
We will keep you updated on the latest!

Very nice tool!Widget-Weather App Now Available! Also with MyLocation Support!
Check out the thread here - Widget-Weather
To install the Widget-Weather app, just go to Cydia and install. This will also remove MyLocation, as it is built in!
Want to protect your JailBreak! Add this repo http://cydia.myrepospace.com/iLEXiNFO/ & Install "iLEX R.A.T."
It will allow you to bring your phone back to a fresh jailbroken state!

Do not run on your device! I've heard that IH8sn0w and winocm took a deal from some Russians to put on an App Store that has piracy and takes all your important data!.........................
Great release guys! Thank you for all your hard work!!

Very nice, thanks. Just a word of caution, the package is still buggy for i4 chips, wait for a couple of days for a fix.

I have to say this but did anyone else think ih8sn0w wasn't going to make an untether to 6.1.3-6.1.?

Take my hat off to ih8sn0w & Wincom, those guys copped a lot of flak & hate tweets for not releasing it sooner. They do a lot for the community & sn0w is pretty good at replying to u if u have issues. We need to be more supportive of these guys & appreciate the Devs in the scene and not ridicule them like these guys were.Twitter ID: @Jato_BZ
