New Report Says Apple Already Field Testing iPhone 6
Apple has reportedly begun field testing the next-generation iPhone 6.
That revelation - which, naturally, is suspect and not confirmed by Apple - comes from popular Chinese blog C Technology. According to the sources behind the report, Apple's iPhone 6 will deliver a larger 4.9-inch display.
Today's rumor is consistent with recent analyst predictions, which similarly call for a bigger display on Apple's next iPhone, although the screen won't be so large as to classify the device as a phablet.
In recent days, a round of reports made national headlines when industry sources and market watchers went on record to propose that the iPhone 6 will likely feature a curved glass design and a wider-than-usual display.
The iPhone 6 is not expected to launch until late summer or early fall of 2014.

Say it ain't so. I don't want a bigger screen. I want more ability and less hands around my neck when using my iPhone. How about stopping the incremental iOS updates and let the hackers handle the business..they give us what we want anyway. Apple then takes that and makes there own version but its never as good. We'll wait for the iPhone 6 to be found in a bar. Then the police will arrest the person with it as if they have committed treason hahaha! Good times

The best way to know for certain what the next iPhone will have for features and design is to wait for Apple to show it at their annual event. I think it is funny that people get upset over a new iPhone that didn't live up to the expectations based on all of the pre-release rumors.

I'm good with the current screen size myself. I like the ergonomics of it. I don't want a device that must be used with 2 hands. I think it would be a mistake if the only offered the one large size!

I too am loving the 5S, truth be told, I didn't know how I'd feel about the 4" screen upgrading from my 4S. That said, I'm sure I'll enjoy my next upgrade just as much regardless of a bigger screen (or not)"All I can be is me, whoever that is" - Bob Dylan

I personally preferred my 3.5" screen when I had a 4S. I upgraded for the newest model 5S because my 4S was reaching it's life end. I hate how retarded this 4" screen is. If they would've widened it by .5" as well then I would've sprung for an upgrade earlier. The way Fapple works half of the time is change without actually changing because they are lazy, and lately, feel uninnovative.

I hoping that, like iPad, there will be 2 sizes to choose from on the next iPhone lineup. Sadly I dont ever think we will see Apple open up the iPhone for hackers eventhough that would be sweet. I really like the iPhone size now but would probably jump up to a larger one just to try it out. With the resale value of Apples products, going back to the smaller size wouldnt be an issue. I really hope we get that choice though.

It's about time we got a bigger screen.
If you want the same size screen, then don't upgrade to the iPhone-6 ... simple.
Apple has at last seen that like every other business, there's no business in not supplying to demand.
Sales lost to manufacturers of larger-screened devices have shown them that businesses bend to the market - not vice-versa.
I think it's funking hilarious that all the non-power users are about to be left with their 4" iPhones of yesteryear. If all they want is a pocket-phone for calls and texts, then there's no reason to upgrade to an i-6 anyway.
Apple fans should all be rejoicing that Apple has chosen to save its bacon by increasing screensize - not whining that a 4.9" screen won't fit in their clutch-bags.
Ingratitude can be so ugly sometimes.

When Jobs was running the show the market bent to Apple. Apple MADE the demand and altered the industry forever. The 5S is hideous in my opinion, that little silver ring around the home button is just plain ugly. Jobs would have hated it. Without Jobs I fear the innovation will always be lacking and will therefore be their downfall.

Imho...Apple is responsible for the bigger is better trend. The iphone dominated the market it created for so many years. The others had to create something, anything to separate themselves and be seen as better. Hence, "My phone is better because it's bigger"! What is surprising to me is how well this simple plow worked. The artificial need for a new phone is only thwarted by the need for a bigger phone. Like all things that I carry in my pocket. I want compact, small and no bigger than my tri-fold wallet. Really, up until now, who walked around in all settings with something the size of a paper tablet on their person?

A 5" phone fits pretty readily into ANY pocket.
A 4.9" phone even easier.
If you want a little feature phone, you have 6 iPhones from the 3 to the 5S to choose from.
Phone web-browsing usage requires a 4.8+" phone.
Why should Apple hobble its prospects of survival just because you don't want to browse on your phone ?

Tablet made from paper...Lol (really, was it that long ago)
I love the iphone 5s.
4.8 isn't required my 4s isn't that big.
Trust me I may have your attention but no one at Apple is going to stop production of iphones because I say so.
One final thing...I love you Man!

Haha. I'm going to just LOVE it when apple produces another 4" phone. All the Apple hate that will go around, people saying it's a flop because it's not what THEY want.... Apple pandered to customers and made a plastic iPhone. How'd that turn out?
