On Tuesday, eBay issued an update to its popular free PayPal iOS application bringing the application up to version 5.2. The update brings a lot of new features, both functional and aesthetic, that users are sure to enjoy.

On the aesthetic side of things, PayPal has been completely redesigned with the design principals of iOS 7 in mind. That includes a taller navigation bar, flatter user interface elements, and transparency.

For those that like hearing about the new features, PayPal has been given plenty of useful new ones. For example, users can now transfer money from their PayPal account directly to their bank account right from the mobile application. In addition, PayPal now supports scanning QR codes and bar codes, and the ability to choose your start screen.

Existing users of the PayPal application for iOS will find the update under the Updates tab in the App Store application. Alternatively, you can download the latest version of PayPal for iOS for free from this App Store link.
