Boost Mobile Announces iPhone 5s and 5c Pricing
As MMi reported October 21st, Apple's flagship iPhone 5s and the lower-cost iPhone 5c will soon be available through a host of small, regional carriers in the U.S.
One of the first of these carriers to announce plans to offer coverage for Apple's new iPhones was Boost Mobile. Late last month, the carrier said the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c would be available as soon as November 8th. At that time, however, no pricing information was revealed.
But that all changed today.
The prepaid subsidiary of Sprint said Friday that pricing for the devices will start at $100 off the normal retail price. This is largely commensurate with the pricing unveiled by Virgin Mobile, another Sprint subsidiary.
In short, the iPhone 5s will start at $549 for the 16GB model. The iPhone 5s 32GB model will run you $649. And $749 is the price for the 64GB version.
Consistent with the $100 discount offered for the flagship iPhone 5s, the 16GB iPhone 5c is priced at $449. The 32GB iPhone 5c will sell for $649.
Both new iPhones will be available with Boost Mobile’s $55 monthly plan with no contract.
