Apple's Stock iOS Applications Now Show Up Under Related App Store Queries
If you have performed any queries in the App Store recently, you may have noticed that not only will App Store results show up, but depending on what you have searched for, the top search results may also recommend that you use one of iOS’ built-in applications rather than download a third-party alternative.
As shown above, putting “Web” into the search bar and then searching for a Web application will result in the App Store telling you that you can use iOS’ built-in Safari Web browser to meet your Web browsing needs, but you can continue to scroll over to the right if you want to look at any of the App Store’s third-party Web browser alternatives.
You will also find many other stock iOS applications are the first search result for many other search queries. For example, typing "SMS," or "Messages," will show the Messages application before showing you any third-party messaging applications.
The exact reasoning for Apple doing this is unknown, but based on speculation, it’s safe to assume that Apple wants its users to take advantage of its own applications rather than third-party alternatives. For newer iOS device users that are unaware that their device comes with a certain function and search the App Store for ways to perform said function, this feature will help let that user know that their device is already capable of the functionality they searched for. It can also cut down on fraudulent App Store developers that may try and make legitimate-looking applications that are actually nothing of what the App Store description depicts them to be.
The new feature is only appearing on devices running iOS 7, so Apple doesn’t appear to be interested in giving this feature to those running iOS 6 or earlier.

Rather, use logic and reason to insult Apple rather than making a broad overarching generalization with absolutely no factual evidence or even ridiculous and/or incorrect opinions to back you up.
