Default Apple Quietly Improved Burst Camera Mode On the iPhone 5s in iOS 7.0.2

iOS 7.0.2 was launched at the end of September, but a recently-revealed improvement in the mobile operating system shows that Apple quietly improved the burst camera mode on the iPhone 5s in iOS 7.0.2. iOS 7.0.2 was released to address a security issue with the lock screen in iOS 7. The current version of iOS is version 7.0.3, which also includes this new feature.

The update makes it easier for iPhone 5s users to choose between keeping every photograph taken in a burst shot sequence, or just keeping one favorite photograph out of the entire burst shot sequence. Before iOS 7.0.2, iOS would automatically save all of the photographs taken in burst mode to the Camera Roll even if users specified their favorites, which because of the high camera quality, could significantly impact storage space if the user didn't stay on top of deleting the unwanted results.

You can see the improved option via the screenshot set above, via MacRumors.

The burst camera mode included with the iPhone 5s is useful for when you’re trying to capture a high-speed moment in a picture and you want to just select the best photograph out of the high-speed moment. For example, if you’re taking pictures of a skateboarder, you can hold the camera button to take multiple shots, and choose the clearest image of the moving subject.

I didn't realize there was a time limit on improvements.
