Default Daylight Savings Time Bug Discovered in Apple's iOS 7

Several iOS device owners running the latest version of Apple’s mobile operating system woke up to a display error in iOS 7’s calendar app caused by the switch to daylight savings time. According to the folks over at AppleInsider, users are reporting the line indicating the current time as being displaced by one hour in the calendar app. For example, at 9:00am, the calendar app draws the “current time” line in the slot as being 10:00am, despite displaying the correct time beside the line and in the system notification bar.

The bug reportedly doesn’t affect scheduled alarms or calendar events, the times for which are adjusted properly. Overall though, Apple seems to have recurring issues with time zone support. In 2010, iOS 4 had a bug that didn’t properly shift alarm schedules when Daylight Savings Time ended, causing some European iPhone owners to miss appointments or wake up late for work while Australians were woken up extra early. In 2011, another iOS 4 bug caused non-recurring alarms to be disabled when clocks ticked over to January 1, 2011.

Apple eventually ended up fixing both issues and is likely to fix this one in the near future as well.

Have any of you been affected by the said bug?

If it's nothing but a graphics error then why does this even matter? This probably wont see a fix until 7.1 in my opinion cause there is no need to hurry and fix it.

Mine is perfect. No errors here. And much more stable than my 6.12 jailbreak. Love the new feel.

LOL. They have always had Daylight Savings bugs.
The more they try to do the more bugs it gets. Thats why I'm keeping my iPad on IOS6 as thats buggy enough and not putting on IOS7 until at least the jailbreak comes out and hopefully some real devs fix the bugs as crApple cant.
I'm sure its the Cydia Devs that fix the bugs and crApple just steal their findings. If crApple want to make a great device then let the Cydia Devs make the IOS. That would be an awesome device and it'll be bug free!!!

Daylight Saving Time.....stumping Apple since 2007!

Every other device I have ever owned that automatically adjusts for DST has never had an issue....going back to a cheap Casio Watch from the early 90's.
But iOS with it's super duper first ever 64 bit mobile operating system...STILL...cannot seem to overcome the enigma that is DST.

How are there still daylight saving bugs. Every year there is a bug with day light savings and New Years. How do they not fix or text this during the beta?

I'm here in the US and have the bug. However you'll see on mine it actually shows the wrong time by the red line. Actual time is correct on notification bar.
