I'm an not an Apple fan and actually get annoyed by this feature but at least I recognize it. This test is too stupid to even realize it.
    They're only robots.

I'm sure apple meant to do this, even if they didn't then I will believe they did because I am a mindless follower...

Just another battle in the Samsung-Apple War ?
Can't say I've ever heard complaints about iPhone touchscreen performance before.
Indeed, the only touchscreens to beat it for speeed and sensitivity in my experience, are the HTC Evo-3D and the super-responsive Nokia Lumia 820/920.

And as pointed out, it seems the study has cherry-picked the S3.
Why not compare it to previous iPhones or current Android phones ?

I have a htc Evo 3D, galaxy nexus, iPod touch 4th gen and a 5S. I DO notice that my 5S sometimes doesn't register to touches. Like when rating an app in the App Store (touching the stars), when trying to tap links in a web page at times, pressing on icons when bringing up control center, etc. my other devices registers touches just fine. Don't know if it's my 5S, but the retina on my iPod touch seems to be a bit sharper.

good point, and I have had iPhones since the 2g and the touch has actually been very good, i could touch a tiny number on a screen to change the page number and in a row of 5 numbers 9 out of 10 times it would register the correct number. I still have my 2g and even that one has a very accurate screen. On the iOS 7 issue, yes I have noticed a slight slip in accuracy but its definitely due to iOS 7. My iphone 5's accuracy was perfect until i updated to iOS 7...

do you have an iphone, if so than go to a website that has small numbered pages on the corners or anywhere on the screen and click them, then you tell me if it is true...

this could be another BS article/review/test hired by samsung execs against Apple (similar to what they did with htc) I would like to post a link to a article for that news on samsung paying for bad htc reviews but i don't wanna be marked as spam... mods let me now if i can post an outside link for that story.

As a Samsung s4 & iPhone5 user I have to say my iPhone has no problems, infact I prefer messaging and using apps more on the iPhone 5 as the accuracy is really good. Apple still suck though lol

Quick fix for the side screen problems. Get a hammer and tap on the left and right sides of the phone. It should knock the sensors back in place.

    Everybody calm down!
This is a new undocumented feature that allows you to slow down while typing so you don't make so many mistakes!
It's called the Apple Typing Monitor!
    AND...NO CHARGE for this !
    Thank you Apple!

If it sucks so much, you should sell it on MMI to somebody else.

They used robot fingers to test this instead of human fingers, which smartphones are specifically designed for?

    Talk about fail.

You clearly have a very feeble grasp of science and scientific principles.
