J.D. Power: On Which Carrier Does Apple's iPhone Work Best?
As Apple's iPhone continues to turn up on more and more regional carriers in the U.S., consumers have a wide variety of choices at their disposal when determining which carrier is the best fit.
If you're still on the fence yourself or thinking about switching carriers, J.D. Power and Associates is serving up a host of helpful information and corresponding recommendations today.
In its tenth annual customer satisfaction rankings, J.D. Power and Associates indicates that Apple is still the No. 1 company for smartphones across all major U.S. carriers. But when it comes to the actual carriers, the iPhone performers better for some than for others.
Overall satisfaction with smartphone devices is highest among AT&T customers, followed by Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon Wireless customers.
Apple and Samsung are the only smartphone brands to achieve overall satisfaction scores that are at or above the study average in all four performance factors, according to the J.D. Power 2013 U.S. Wireless Smartphone Satisfaction Study.

I would have to agree. I use my iPhone on AT&T and never have any issues with it. While others i know on Sprint, Verizon and Tmo complain. I seem to have issues when calling some Verizon users tho...oh well no network is perfect.

Seems a little more pertinent to this site from the article:
"Among Apple smartphone owners, satisfaction with their overall experience is highest among Verizon Wireless customers (861)."

I would have to say that AT&T and Verizon are equal. Both have problem areas.

I haven't had a single carrier related issue on my Verizon 5s, however my sister just got an AT&T model yesterday and it dropped the call 3 times while I was talking to her, whereas she never had the problem on her 4s. I'm wondering if it's not defective and needing to be exchanged.

Verizon's, Sprint's iPhone 5S, 5C won't juggle data, voice | Apple - CNET News
Manufacturers who have made phones that work with voice and data at the same time on CDMA have had to add additional hardware as a work-around to accomplish this. Oh and if you read that you will see that it is no where close to every other phone from every other manufacturer, but you never really like to deal in facts do you?

I have been experimenting with both carriers, sprint(company phone 5s) and att(personal 5s), and have to tell you that AT&T is the best on my opinion. I was thinking of ditching my personal but sprint network is not there yet, whereas I get Lte on AT&T , on sprint is only 3G. Two days already with this phone and I have seen Lte only once.

AT&T is constantly expanding their LTE network. A month ago I didn't have LTE at my house and typically only got 2 bars on 4G. Now I get 3-4 bars of LTE and almost always 5 bars of 4G. Guess using the 'Mark The Spot' from AT&T works!

It's pretty useless for most people to base your carrier choice on nationwide coverage.Let's go Red Wings!

My iphone work good on AT&T LTE in Miami, FL no problem

I use Sprint but can't wait to leave them this December due to their snail 3G data plan which is a joke.

I would have to agree with all the others here, AT&T seems to be the best overall network for the iPhone. Than again, they've had it since 2007.. Whereas the rest of the networks only got it within the last few years... And, before Verizon fans go Apesh** on me, AT&T was the ONLY company to agree to apple's terms, which were #1 NO carrier branding, #2 NO carrier control of software, #3 NO discounted phones to carriers.

Which carrier is best suited for iPhone 5s?
I've been with AT&T when it was Cingular and now AT&T, mostly I'm Happy with their services however this slow down data speed after 2GB IS FOR THE BIRDS..... So I am in search for another carrier, t-m offer unlimited across the board for $70.00 per month that's calls data and texts.... My only concern is how about the connections 3G 4G LTE, anyone got any idea ???

So...you asked a question in the title and never answered it.
Overall satisfaction with smartphones is highest among AT&T customers because AT&T gets the best smartphones first.
"Among Apple smartphone owners, satisfaction with their overall experience is highest among Verizon Wireless customers."
Meaning in most cases, the best carrier to get an iPhone on is Verizon.
