Default Apple Reportedly Releasing iOS 7.0.3 Next Week

According to published reports Tuesday, Apple is actively preparing iOS 7.0.3 for release in the coming days.

As MMi reported earlier today, iPhone owners who recently upgraded to iOS 7 are experiencing issues with iMessage. And the complaints have apparently increased in number since last week’s iOS 7.0.2 update.

According to sources dishing to BRG, we're going to see one more build of Apple’s new mobile software before iOS 7.1 lands. And, hopefully, it will address some of these persistent issues many iOS 7 users have been complaining about online and among one another since the September 18th launch.

Nonetheless, the build number of iOS 7.0.3 is 11B491 and BGR says Apple has seeded iOS 7.0.3 to employees and partners for final testing. There's an excellent chance it will be released next week.

Even though they are sending out updates frequently, that should be considered a good thing rather than negative thing. Because on one hand, yeah, they have a few minor issues with iOS 7, but they realize that, and are working quickly to resolve the issues. If only everyone would fix problems this fast, the world would be a better place. Let's hope they keep up the good work.

Agreed. Also, the best beta testers are the general public, right?

Agree with Brandon.amos! Very thankful the issues with iOS 7 are being addressed so quickly. I'm still having issues on my iPhone 5 with it.

iOS is becoming like Windows, to many updates, patches, bug fixes.

What's wrong with iMessage?...I don't think I've had any problems...

There were 8 different versions of iOS 6. And most devices had less than that. Windows has at least 17 updates every month...

Or any other OS that has vulnerabilities and bugs to fix.

Exactly! And there are far more consumers than developers, that will use the software in ways they may not have thought of in controlled lab tests. So of course we'll find many issues with the software, but at least now they know what those issues are because of their consumer base that they may not have found otherwise.

Let's hope this doesn't hinder the jailbreak

He might be talking about Windows PC platform, but with that being said, you can't compare a PC OS with a mobile OS anyway so...

Gotta stamp all them bugs out. Still quite a few in 7.0.2.

Did anyone listen to Obama's speech earlier? He said the government is shutdown because Republicans don't want to raise the Debt Limit. And he likened the government to Apple. Saying: "Apple released a new software last week to fix a glitch in the system. But you don't see people trying to shut apple down and make them stop selling their devices. So why are they doing that with the government?" I feel that Apple and the government are completely different animals.

I remember dealing with a buggy Windows Mobile device for well over a year before I received an update, and just to toss salt in the wound, the Microsoft update did NOT fix the issues I was having.

Oh, good. Call Tom Cook and let him know so he doesn't waste effort on iOS 7.0.3

I'm not really sure what you're talking about. Updates are around for the good of the public. They aren't going to stop because one person is sad they have to update 2 weeks after they just did. Boohoo. That's what they did with betas and if they gotta fix something major like the message feature they are gonna push it ASAP. Just stfu and calm down.
