Google Translate Update Brings Facelift and Ability to Write Words With Your Finger
Google Translate has been updated on Friday to version 2.0 bringing with it an all new interface made to look “sleek and modern,” as well as bringing a number of all new features to it.
One of the most notable features is the new ability to actually write out words with your finger instead of typing, much like Google Handwrite. As you write, your words will be recognized for you automatically by the application so you can complete your sentences that you want translated. 49 languages are supported with handwriting.
In addition, the Google Translate application has adopted support for translating to and from the following languages: Bosnian, Cebuano, Hmong, Javanese, Khmer, Lao, Marathi. Now the application supports over 70 different languages.
Existing users of the Google Translate application for iOS will find the update under the Updates tab in the App Store and can download it for free. Alternatively, you can download the latest version of Google Translate for free from the App Store via this link.
