Apple introduced quite a bit of things at its recent media event but surprisingly it didnít make any mention of a deal it struck with China Mobile. The Cupertino California company recently inked a deal with the worldís largest carrier earlier this month to carry the popular handset. According to their respective technical specifications pages, both the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C will work on TD-LTE networks, the technology used by China Mobile.

It may just be that Apple is waiting until its specialized Beijing event to reveal the new China Mobile partnership. Last week the company sent out invites to a media event that will take place in China on September 11, separating it from the September 10 event.

With over 700 million wireless subscribers, China Mobile is the largest carrier in the world. To give you a better idea, China Mobile is roughly the size of 7 Verizons. A deal with China Mobile would give Apple significantly more exposure in the important market of Asia.
