Survey Reveals What Chinese Will Happily Pay for iPhone 5C
As the clock counts down toward the anticipated September 10th launch date of Apple's iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C, the results of a new survey look very promising for Apple with regard to the iDevice maker's future hopes for becoming a bigger smartphone powerhouse in China.
According to Morgan Stanley's Katy Huberty, the iPhone 5C may give Apple the mobile miracle it's been looking for inside of the world's largest mobile community.
This week, Huberty issued a note to clients with the results of a survey of 2,000 Chinese mobile phone owners. What the data suggests is that the iPhone 5C "will drive incremental volume growth."
Chinese consumers consider US$486 (or RMB 4,000) to be an acceptable price range for the lower-priced iPhone, 22% higher than where we think Apple will price it.
If this prospective reality pans out, by this time next year, Apple could be the No. 1 smartphone vendor in China.

Its only a matter of time. They've been trying to figure out how to crack that code for years now.
