Default AT&T Enables 4G LTE in Several More U.S. Cities

AT&T has enabled its ultra-fast 4G LTE network in several more U.S. cities Wednesday as a part of the carrier's move to cover as many markets as possible by the end of 2013.

The lucky new cities that now have AT&T's ultra-fast 4G LTE network coverage include:

    • Charlottesville, Virginia
    • Coeur DElene, Idaho
    • Fort Collins, Colorado
    • Greenville , Mississippi
    • Kirksville, Missouri
    • Laredo, Texas
    • Medford, Oregon
    • Mt. Sterling, Kentucky
    • Phoenix, Arizona
    • Portsmouth, New Hampshire
    • Stockton, California
    • Topeka, Kansas
    • Vicksburg, Mississippi
    • Zanesville, Ohio

4G LTE offers a theoretical download speed of around 100Mb/s; however, due to the unfortunate realities of network congestion, download speeds on 4G LTE in real-life situations are more or less closer to 20-60Mb/s.

Many of Apple's latest devices, including the iPhone 5, iPad Mini, and iPad with retina display can take advantage of AT&T's 4G LTE network.

That stinks! It's been on in East Mesa for a few months now. So I figured all of Phoenix got it.
