Former Apple CEO Back in Business with Apple
John Sculley, the 74-year old ex-CEO who presided over Apple from 1983–1993, launched a startup, ironically, on the date Steve Jobs died in 2011. And now, the company's newest product is coming to Apple stores.
Called Misfit, the company produces a fitness tracker called Shine. Corresponding to a pretty snazzy iPhone app, Shine differs from the traditional wearable fitness tracker both in appearance and utility.
Wear Shine anywhere on your body with our range of accessories that are designed for any occasion. Then sync with the Shine app to set your activity goal, check your daily progress, and see your movement trends.
- Sync: Just place Shine on the screen to sync
- Activity Meter: Check up on your activity progress and see stats like steps, calories and distance
- Intensity Graph: See your activity level over time and watch yourself improve
- Highlights: See highlights of your days and weeks including activities, sleep, milestones and more
Effective immediately, Apple stores in the United States and Canada (as well as Japan, Hong Kong, and stores across Europe and Australia next month) will carry the device.

It's Sugar Water Man as Steve affectionately called him.
