Thread: Beta Version of Auxo App Switcher for iOS Gets New Slim Mode

Default Beta Version of Auxo App Switcher for iOS Gets New Slim Mode

The beta version of the popular Auxo App Switcher jailbreak tweak has received a new Slim Mode feature. The slim mode looks like Apple’s stock App Switcher, but users will still get all of the great features that Auxo has to offer.

Slim Mode basically removes the application preview feature so that application icons will display instead. On the other hand, users can still take advantage of the toggle page and the improved music control page. Even though the App Switcher looks like Apple’s users can still swipe down on the application icons to close the applications.

The Slim Mode feature goes out to those that preview the application icon look over the application preview look. The feature can be enabled or disabled from the tweak’s preferences pane via the switch labeled “Slim Mode:”

Those that own Auxo already can download the latest beta from the following repository:

I liked this tweak when it first dropped. Only draw back is that it was buggy for me.

Why? This feature seems completely pointless and feels like it's not Auxo at all.

Less than 50% power so I can't OTA Beta 5 but hope it's better than 4... I've had tons of random issues compared to 3.

That was my experience too. After all this time and after several updates, the brightness slider button in auxo is still unusable for anybody with fingers larger than 1 pixel width.

I have big hands and a iphone5 and the brightness slider works fine for me. On the other hand, I must agree that it is very buggy.

Haven't tried this but let me get this straight:

Auxo 'Slim' is exactly the same as the default App Switcher w/ some extra toggles? Genius 😒...

It gives you the slide to close feature, the close all feature, the improved music controls, and the toggles.

You have the option to keep Auxo how it normally looks, or give it back the Apple appeal.
