Default Apple Releases "FaceTime Every Day" Ad

Apple recently released a new iPhone ad titled “FaceTime Every Day,” which is the third in the popular people-oriented ad series that the company launched earlier this year. The other previous ads included “Music Every Day” and “Photos Every Day” which highlighted the iPhone’s Music and Camera apps respectively. Much like the other ads in the series that focused on music and photos, FaceTime Every Day highlights Apple’s FaceTime app with the spot featuring a number of people of all ages using FaceTime in various locations across the world.

In the advertisement, there is some soft music as a group wishes a man happy birthday from afar with fireworks being shared long distances and a woman using the app to communicate with sign language. At the end of it all, the advertisement ends with a familiar line that states the following:

Every day more people connect face to face on the iPhone than any other phone.
Those of you who are interested in watching the ad can do so below:

Have only used face time once... It's cool, I'm just weird and don't use it...

My father gets to see his grandson everyday with FaceTime, instead of every weekend without it.

Facetime. Something else Apple stole. Skype has been doing Video chat for many years before Facetime came out.
I was Skyping with people all over the world on my laptop with an external USB camera years before the iPhone even came out.
And the first, 2nd and 3rd iPhones couldn't do video chat where my Windows Mobile phone could and that was about 2 years older than the 1st iPhone.

Apple are just thieves. They steal others ideas then try to take all the credit for themselves. Want more proof I'm right here? Look at IOS7 and all the Cydia apps integrated into IOS7. Where are the credits to the original devs? I want to see in the credits of IOS7 at least the name "Saurik"

And they didn't bash any other competitor. I admire that

You noob. Webcam chatting was alive way before Skype. AIM, Yahoo! messenger, etc... Does that make Skype a thief? Go elsewhere with your tomfoolery.

Yea Skype came out in 2003, I used a webcam with AIM in 2001 to video with friends who went away for college.

Although it was 2012 and Manti Teo still hadn't heard of video chat.
