The popular free Pinterest application for iOS Tuesday received an update bringing the application up to version 2.6. The Pinterest application allows users to pin images and share with others.

The update improves the feature list of the application for both iPhone/iPod touch users and iPad users. In addition, the update fixes some crashing problems that users have been experiencing.

iPhone and iPod touch users now have the ability to tap and hold on a pin in order to quickly like something, pin something, or send something. In addition, iPhone and iPod touch users will be able to remove things from their feed by simply tapping on the Edit Home Feed button.

iPad users haven't been left out of the loop. They have now been given the ability to send pins just like iPhone and iPod touch users can.

Existing users of the Pinterest application will find the update under the Updates tab in the App Store. Alternatively, you can download the latest version of the Pinterest application for iOS for free via this App Store link.
