Shazam has issued an update to the free Shazam and paid Shazam Encore applications for iOS Monday afternoon bringing the applications both to version 6.2.0.

The update adds the ability to buy multiple tracks at once based on what you've tagged. You will find a Select & Buy button at the top of the application while under the Tags tab that you can use to select multiple songs at once before you purchase music via iTunes. This feature makes it easier to buy more music in bulk when you discover songs you want to listen to.

In addition, the update gives you song recommendations, which can help you find more music that is similar to what you're tagging. Shazam's preview library has also been extended, so songs that you tag can be previewed right from the Shazam application.

The update also makes it easier to share music that you tag on social networks like Facebook and Twitter, and Voiceover on iPhone has been given improvements.

Existing users of Shazam or Shazam Encore for iOS will find the update for free under the Updates tab in the App Store. Alternatively, you can download the latest version of Shazam for free via this iTunes link or the latest version of Shazam Encore for $6.99 via this iTunes link.
