Default [GIVEAWAY] GSM iPhone Unlock and $5 Off an iDeviceGuys Purchase

We're teaming up with iDeviceGuys to bring our readers another awesome giveaway!

If you have ever wanted to unlock your iPhone, you've come to the right place. In this giveaway you will get the chance to win one of three GSM iPhone carrier unlocks. A locked iPhone can only be used with the carrier that it's locked to, but an unlocked GSM iPhone can be used with any GSM carrier as long as you have the SIM card to pop in. For example, an unlocked AT&T iPhone can be used with T-mobile, and vice-versa.

In addition, iDeviceGuys have been gracious enough to offer all ModMyi readers $5.00 off of any purchase on iDeviceGuys.com. To save $5 on an iDeviceGuys purchase, you can redeem the promo code MMI2013 during your checkout.

iDeviceGuys offers unlocking services for all kinds of different iPhone variations and other smartphones alike; iDeviceGuys also offers ESN cleaning services.

To gain entries for a chance to win a free GSM iPhone unlock, complete as much of the widget below as possible:

A shout-out to our forum moderator Cowboy for making this giveaway possible! Note: Most unlocks take anywhere from three to 24 hours to be completed.

Is it for an unlock or for an unlocked device... Very strange wording.

    Edit:
ffs, I read it wrong. I was not trying to "bash" anyone or bust anyone's balls.

I'm not sure I understand where you're going with this?

This is an unlock for a locked device. We have gone into detail to explain what an unlocked iPhone can do that a locked iPhone cannot.

I was unaware that an unlock had been achieved on the current baseband without the use of a gevysim or some sort of hardware that required dialing 911 and potentially breaking the law.

Its a factory unlock AKA a carrier unlock. No need to use hardware or software. It is based off your imei and how it is recognized with your carriers servers.

Have you ever done a carrier unlock? A change is made on Apples server by the carrier and your device is identified by the IMEI number. Providing your IMEI number to some random service is not a good idea.

The code isn't working on the checkout page.

Have I ever done one? Yes i have done thousands since i run ideviceguys lol
This isnt a random service, and as a mod on this site why would i put my reputation at risk?
Or better yet why would ModMyi want to risk losing members over a bogus article over a company they dont trust?
Neither Modmyi or Myself would want to do that

Are you pressing continue after applying the coupon or just update? The $5 discount doesn't actually show until you press continue.
