    As I have stated before, I would much rather pay the full amount ($600) for the iPhone, own it outright, and not have to pay such high subsidies. This is the biggest ripoff to me, especially considering they will keep charging you the subsidized rate after your two years on the same phone even though they have recovered costs well before then.

    After two years I get AT&T to unlock the phone. Then sell it on eBay for much more than what I paid and upgrade again.

    If you removed Alaska the numbers would not be that different.
    Let's do remove Alaska, and while we're at it, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Mississippi. That would set us back on track.
