Did anyone do a search before posting this thread? There are a few display recorders out there and the one above has been there since January.
If you look at the app info on the App Store version 1.0 of this app was released today. Not sure where you got January from.

How do these get on the app store anyway without Apple picking up on it? I don't understand.

Just happen to get a reviewer who doesnt agree with the restrictive guidelines, doesn't care, or the dev manages to hide that he's using private API.

This one actually acted like a music player during the review and then turned into a display recorder, this is why the app needs internet access so it knows which mode to be in.

And thats the one linked https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/disp...594415065?mt=8 which happens to be an AU link.
Here it is in the US store https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/disp...594415065?mt=8

Which according to the reviews tell that it's just a video camera app

Get the latest info for NoAccSplash Here
Currently it should work on iOS 4.x - 6.x
If you'd like to help extend its functionality, the source is also available.
