Default iOS 7 Beta 3 Reportedly Set to Release July 8th

iOS 7 has been in beta for developers to test their applications on since the initial unveiling at WWDC 2013. Just four days ago, Apple issued iOS 7 Beta 2 to developers, which included many bug fixes for the early mobile operating system.

A report from BGR suggests that Apple may be seeding iOS 7 Beta 3 to carriers on Monday, July 8th. The report highlights that iOS 7 Beta 2 was seeded to developers on the same day that it was seeded to carriers, so it’s possible that the same could be the case for iOS 7 Beta 3, meaning the software update could be available for all iOS devices linked to a developer account on that day.

iOS 7 Beta 3 is expected to add more bug fixes across the board. Most of iOS 7’s features have already been implemented since the first beta; however, that’s not to say that Apple may not sneak a few additional features into the next beta. iOS 7 is expected to see major changes throughout the entire beta process before its final release to the public this Fall.

Should the update be released on the forecasted date, this would be two weeks after iOS 7 Beta 2 was released. This pattern also appears between the release of iOS 7 Beta 1 and iOS 7 Beta 2, suggesting that Apple may stay on track for a two-week beta release pattern for iOS 7. Being that iOS 7 was rushed into production because of all the major changes, this may be a necessary step in ensuring as smooth of a public release as possible.

Why is this news??? Any experience Developer knows that it's usually a bi weekly turnaround for a new beta release. But on occasion they do/may release on a 3rd week. Already have peeps making threads in Dev forums asking when Beta 3 is coming out? It's like really? Beta 2 has only been out for 4 days and your already asking about beta 3??? LMAO And as we tell them. They come out when Apple releases it to us.... But anyways go thru this same crap every year LOL

iOS 6 beta 2 was 20 days, beta 3 was 21 days, and beta 4 was 37 days.

However ya until that I will agree usually every 2 weeks or so lol.

Beta 2 is very unstable on the iPad mini, hoping beta 3 will fix some of the issues I am having. I have experienced a few bugs on my iPhone 5, but that is to be expected. However, my iPad mini is almost unusable at times. It freezes at least 3 times a day so far.

For iPads I general. Definitely needs a lot of straightening out. The stability is very sensitive

Beta 1 was rough on my 5. Beta 2 is better but not solid. I still get soft reboots when multitasking. Although, I was on a phone call and went to back to springboard, I then selected iTunes and my phone went black and the pinwheel came up. My conversation was still ongoing and did not disconnect. Upon reboot, I had to unlock my phone and continued my conversation haha. Beta 3 will be better then we probably get Gold Master.

Stability on my 4s is crap. To be honest. I reboot at least twice a day. It deleted all my contacts., then all my notes. And third party apps never stay open for longer than 10 minutes. I am heavily anticipating beta 3

It would make sense. Plus it would make my week because Beta 2 is absolutely horrible compared to Beta 1. They added 1 feature, fixed most crashing bugs, and made new regular and crashing bugs that are wen harder to deal with.

I too love iOS7 beta 2 is buggy on my iPhone 4 but I'm comfortable with it after all its a beta version how can anyone here *****. Also am I the only one that doesn't have the transparent keyboard after beta 2 update? I wish parallax was also a feature on the ip4 and quick response or quick compose.

I have a feeling the transparent keyboard was removed from iPhone 4 to help reduce resource usage I may be wrong though

I agree, beta 1 I feel was more stabile for multitasking, I know they made it true multitasking now, but 3rd party apps just seem to kill ram and when you close them not give it back, I hard reboot (hold home + power) Atleast 5 or 6 times a day, it's so annoying. But it is a beta so I really can't complain all that much.

Beta 2 is fantastic compared with one!! I was charging my phone three times a day with beta 1. And in not having as bad crashes. If you're going to complain about a beta, backdate to iOS 6.
Personally, with 7 now, iOS 6 just feels old...

I would never want to go back to 6 but if there was a way to drop to beta 1 I'd be gung ho for it. Beta 2 is causing me to constantly hard reboot at least 2 times a day now. Beta 3 I'm hoping will fix the instabilities that are everywhere in beta 2.

And does anyone have a problem with beta 2 not allowing you to connect and sync with iTunes? Any fixes too? Thanks!

I think it has to do with 3rd party chargers because I used my friends apple charger and it sunc like normal. Maybe they are trying to force people to buy their overly expensive chargers now?

Could be true. My friends car deck, which charged his phone while playing music before just fine, suddenly only plays music now. Won't charge with iOS 7.
