iTunes U, a popular free application in the iOS community by Apple that allows users to follow courses from large universities to learn new things, has received an update Tuesday afternoon that brings the application to version 1.3.1.

With the latest update, iTunes U will now check for course updates when you pull to refresh from the Notepad. The application has also gained improved support for many languages including Arabic, French, German, Greek, Italian, Russian, and Spanish.

In addition to these new features, a few issues have been fixed including a bug that could prevent courses from updating, and a bug that could cause the iTunes U application to crash after opening the catalog repeatedly.

iTunes U is available in the App Store for free for all iOS users. Existing users can download the latest update from the Updates tab in the App Store; alternatively, the latest version of the application can be downloaded from the App Store for free via this link.
