Default Groundbreaking Sleep Genius App Debuts on iOS

An iOS app designed to help people sleep better is getting a lot of attention today, which is impressive given the vast array of available apps already promising to do the same. This creators behind this app, however, weren't snoozing through the development process. In fact, the scientifically advanced app is already drawing widespread praise for being unlike any competing app in the iOS ecosystem today.

Although the App Store is presently awash with ineffective sleep apps that offer up little more than static white noise and "natural sounds" that rival B-movie quality sound effects, Sleep Genius is a different animal altogether. Pledging to facilitate deeper and longer sleep experiences, the "Sleep Genius" app has just been approved and released for download in the iTunes App Store.

Billed as the world's most advanced sleep app, Sleep Genius uses neurosensory algorithms, multiband binaural beats, pink noise and psychoacoustic music. The app, we're told, capitalizes on more than a decade of sleep research. And so far, early reviews and preliminary user examples illustrate the app is delivering on its promise to deliver more restful sleep.

So, how exactly can neuroscience help you sleep better?

"Our exclusive sleep algorithms and scientifically composed music ease your brain into its natural sleep rhythms," the makers of the app say.

Following the app's official launch over the weekend, Sleep Genius will be available for free for a limited period of time. To check it out, click here.

    hahaha, good one!

Anyways, I'm gonna test this out. It looks promising and I, like many others, have trouble sleeping at night also.

Tried it last night and its ok, been using slacker or pandora and just searching for a yoga or sleep station but sometimes there are tracks that are either annoying or creepy.

This works really well . Preferably use with head sets . If you have a home theater system it can be a bit annoying ..

Is this different or better than sleep cycle?

Different. You don't have to keep the phone on your bed with this app. It doesn't monitor your movement. This is just music that's supposed to put you to sleep.
