Weekly Tweak Recap June 3 - June 9
In case you've missed out on the new jailbreak tweaks Cydia has seen, this recap will highlight the tweaks we've shown you this week. These are in no specific order.
1. ScreenshotPlus – 99¢
ScreenshotPlus is a handy new jailbreak tweak that lets you crop screenshots before you save them. The idea behind the tweak is to keep you from having to take a screenshot and then go through the editing process later; rather, the screenshot will be pre-cropped and you can get right to sending it to someone without the hassle. The tweak comes with Activator integration, and the interface is intuitive and simple.
2. WiPi – FREE
WiPi is a simple new jailbreak tweak that lets you invoke an Activator action of your choice to see the Wi-Fi networks around you. You can even easily connect and disconnect from various Wi-Fi networks from the list that the tweak shows you. This makes it easier to control your Wi-Fi without having to navigate through the Settings application, and because it uses Activator, you can use it from anywhere.
3. Flipswitch (Switchicons Screenshot Below) – FREE
Flipswitch is a new API created by Ryan Petrich that allows developers to tap into toggle switches for their tweaks. By having all or most toggle switch tweaks work under a single API, there is a smaller chance of conflicts or bugs from conflicting code; rather, everything will work together better. Shown above is a demonstation tweak called Switchicons that uses the Flipswitch API to add toggle buttons to the home screen. Flipswitch will also be included in Auxo’s Toggle page and other tweaks. Flipswitch is expected to make a larger footprint in the near future.
4. Wallpaper Cyclr – 99¢
Wallpaper Cyclr will let you add some variety to your iOS device wallpapers. The tweak taps into the power of Tumblr to cycle through wallpapers for your home screen and lock screen. You get the option to input tags that your wallpapers will be themed around, and you can also select a time period that you want the wallpaper to cycle. This makes it so you can have a different wallpaper at random every hour, or every couple of hours. It’s great for people that want variety, and it’s also great for people that can’t decide what they want for a wallpaper because it chooses for them.
5. ClearOnOpen – FREE
ClearOnOpen is a simple convenience tweak that makes sure your SpotLight page is fresh and ready to use each time you open it. The tweak simply removes your previous search results and query from the text box whenever you open SpotLight. This tweak is great for anyone that utilizes SpotLight a lot.
6. Cybernetic – FREE
Cybernetic is a simple tweak that prevents mistakes when banner notifications appear on your screen. Rather than tapping on a banner notification to launch the application that it’s for, you will now need to swipe down on it. Tapping the banner will dismiss it instead. You can even disable notification banners outright with this tweak. This tweak is great for iOS gamers that want to reduce the chances of accidentally closing the game they’re in and going to the application that the notification is for.
7. TrollTwitter – FREE
TrollTwitter is a simple fun tweak for spoofing information in your Twitter application. You can make the application show your account as suspended, verified, or protected, as well as spoof the number of followers, people you follow, and number of Tweets you have. Because the application spoofs your Twitter application, no one but you can see your changes. Because of this, the tweak is for entertainment purposes only and doesn’t affect the status of your Twitter account.

TrollTwitter is useless and is something that can probably be done with Flex. No idea why it's getting so much attention.

Wallpaper Cyclr forces me into safe mode every time. I thought it wasn't playing nice with Live Papers, which I kinda expected, but I disabled Live Papers and it still doesn't work. At least it only cost me $1 to find out it's broken.
