Default 'iYoutubeReplay' Forces YouTube Videos to Auto Replay in Google's YouTube App

For those of you looking for a way to make Google’s YouTube application automatically replay videos when they finish, you’re in luck. A new jailbreak tweak called iYoutubeReplay is now available in Cydia for free that does just that.

After you install the jailbreak tweak, you will be able to watch full videos in Google’s free YouTube application and when the video ends, it will automatically restart. You can easily exit the video by tapping on the back button, or by closing the application.

The tweak comes in handy for situations where you see a funny video and want to be able to watch it a second time. It's also great for those videos that you are in disbelief about and have to see it a second time to believe it. If you listen to music via YouTube, the tweak offers a pretty useful replay feature that you can use to listen to a song over and over without having to press play over and over.

After installing the tweak, you will find a preferences pane in the Settings application that allows you to enable or disable the tweak on demand:

An update to the tweak is on the way that will allow you to enable or disable the tweak on demand directly from the YouTube application rather than having to exit to the Settings application.

If you would like to give iYoutubeReplay a try for your YouTube needs, you will find it on Cydia's BigBoss repository right now. You must have Google's YouTube application installed to be able to take advantage of the tweak's features.

The first two ignore the fact that being automatic does nothing for those scenarios. Automatic usually matters when you can't handle the phone, such as when you started music playback and had to set the phone down. I would've loved to have this back when I still had an iPhone so that I couls start one of those 10 minute long Chemical Brothers tracks on my way to work riding the motorcycle and not be stuck listening to nothing for the second half of the ride. Yes, I had a Bluetooth A2DP kit in my helmet helmet but if I didn't use AVRCP to restart playback before it finished I was screwed for the rest of the ride.
