'OpenOnSearch' Makes Searching Through SpotLight More Direct
SpotLight is a feature in iOS that lets you search for things on your iOS device. Once you start typing, you begin getting search suggestions. When you tap on the search button, the keyboard disappears so that the whole screen becomes dedicated to showing you the search results.
Since you can hide the keyboard and scroll through the content without having to tap on the search button on the keyboard, it would make more sense to add a more useful feature to the Search button on the keyboard; that's the idea behind a new free jailbreak tweak called OpenOnSearch by iOS developer MattCMultimedia.
OpenOnSearch makes it so that after you enter a query into the SpotLight search text box, the top search result will be opened automatically upon tapping on the Search button rather than just hiding the keyboard and allowing you to review the search results.
The tweak does effectively make the Search button more useful, and can speed up your workflow in certain situations. If you would like to give OpenOnSearch a try, it’s available for free in Cydia’s BigBoss repository. It doesn’t come with any options to configure.
Requirements: iOS 6.0+

They should have renamed the button then! Now it makes no sense. Booo
Pressing enter when typing a Google search doesn't automatically open the first result, even though Google instant shows you all the results while you're typing.
