Yahoo! launched a standalone e-mail client for the Yahoo! Mail platform in December of 2011, which received its first update last month adding support for the iPad and iPad Mini, and added new features that many users found useful.

The company has released yet another update to the free Yahoo! Mail application Wednesday, adding support for iOS’ built-in AirPrint feature. AirPrint allows the user to print things from their iOS device via an AirPrint-enabled wireless printer on the same wireless network.

The AirPrint feature is accessed in the Yahoo! Mail application by tapping on the “Print” button that appears in the Reply menu of an e-mail message. Alternatively, users can take advantage of the share button in iOS 6 to bring up another button for printing something.

The change log for today’s Yahoo! Mail update also mentions that the update adds many performance enhancements and bug fixes to the application, which will add to the overall experience of the application when you use it.

Existing users of the Yahoo! Mail application will find the update under the Updates tab in the App Store. Alternatively, you can download the latest version of Yahoo! Mail for iOS for free via this App Store link.
